Everyday around 11:00 a.m, Rue La La chooses a variety of brands where you can buy their discounted items. One of today's brand happens to be the bright and cheery Kate Spade! Special Mom

Mother's Day has always been a special day. My Mom plays an extremely important role in my life. She has scarified so much to ensure that my brother and I always have the best. She is constantly working so hard to make everything run smoothly at home, supporting my dreams and of course my photographer for the blog :). I home one day I can come close to being half the person she is today. She is and always will be my biggest inspiration.

I spent Mother's Day with my family by going to church and later a surprise brunch at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island. I was a perfect day between spending time with my mom, the beautiful weather and delicious brunch. Castle Hill has to be one of my favorite places in New England. The views are absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous. Not to mention, the food is beyond excellent. I can guarantee you will experience the best food you have ever had. 

The outfit that I wore was from shopping smart online. I bought my Lilly dress on Rue La La recently and the Jack Rogers are from Gilt!

Easter Outfit

Let's just say, it was a hectic week leading up to Easter. I have a bad habit of waiting until last minute to plan outfits and buy them. I drove around and called basically every store in Rhode Island, Cape Cod and Boston to see if they had this dress in stock. With my luck, no one had it so I was forced to overnight it from Lilly Pulitzer (thank you customer service!!). Spring is my favorite season of the year. I love wearing pink and green when the sun is shining :). Overall I had a wonderful Easter surrounded by family and friends!

The hat I'm wearing is from Marley Lilly. The pink bow can easily be removed to make it more causal. It definitely makes a statement so be prepared for an overload of compliments and questions! The bracelet I am wearing is from the Kiel James Patrick new pearl collection.

Phew! I can't believe Easter Sunday is just around the corner! Is it just me or did this lent season just fly by? Easter is such a great time to break out the bright colored dresses that have been screaming to be worn all winter. Here is a collection of some of my favorite Easter looks;

Ready for Spring: OOTD

Hey Preppies! Lately I have been so busy for and blogging has just been pushed off to the side (sorry). Well, here I am and I wanted to share a new spring outfit I just put together. I don't know about you but I'm tired of wearing dark and drab winter clothes and ready to move on to bright summery colors. As I mentioned before in a previous blog post, I rarely every leave the house without my Vineyard Vines Classic Tote. This Murfee Scarf from Lilly  pulls the outfit together. It is  a great reminder that summer is coming soon since the print is Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and the Cape!

OOTD: Shep

 Vineyard Vines Shep Shirts are so comfortable that I could honestly live in them for the rest of my life! Shep Shirts are great because they can either be worn casually or dressed up depending on what you're wearing. I personally like to wear mine casually with just simple earrings and pants. When purchasing a Shep Shirt, I would recommend going up a size than what you would normally wear since they are a great piece for layering! You want to be able to have room for more clothes underneath. Buy a Shep Shirt here

Weekly Wish List I

Hey Preppies! Below you will find a collage of items I'm wishing for on my Weekly Wish-List. These are random things I have come across throughout the week that I am currently obsessing over. I mean, you have to agree, the Kate Spade Roset Dress is gorgeous right?! 

Number 1 // This dress is beyond stunning. I tried it on at the Kate Spade store and instantly fell in love with it! Unfortunately, I don't have any events coming up so there was no reason to purchase it:( 

Number 2 // How adorable is this Mini Audrey Bag?! My favorite color it comes in is "Strawberry Fro-yo". 

Number 3 // This Essie color is perfect for the coming spring and Easter time! 

Number 4 // Once all the snow melts away, I can wait to get back into my running routine. I can't workout without wearing cute clothes! 

Number 5 // My two favorite things combined into one dress: seersucker and grosgrain ribbon.

Take a Bow: OOTD

Recently, Rhode Island has been hit with so many snow storms! As a result, I have diagnosed myself with cabin fever and I'm "itching" for warmer weather in the Spring! This outfit makes me think of spring with just a pop of pink in the Ralph Lauren button down tucked underneath the cozy J.Crew sequin bow sweater.  In addition, accompanying the cute classic look is a fabulous navy blue pair of Hunter Boots. These are indeed the perfect shoe for a New England day since they are so versatile and adaptable at a moments notice, ready for quick weather changes. After all, you never know what kind of weather the day will bring anyway!

 I'm not kidding when I tell people I never leave the house without my Vineyard Vines Canvas tote! It fits everything I need along with it being very cute.

Hello!

Hello! My name is Ariana. I started this blog to share a glimpse of my life with you as a New Englander. I reside in the beautiful "Ocean State" of Rhode Island with my amazing family which includes my Mom, Dad and brother. Also, Bichon Frise Max and kitty TallulahBella. 

As a result of living on the water my whole life, I have taken full advantage of the resources around me on both land and sea. I have been sailing since early childhood both competitively and recreationally three seasons a year! In addition to sailing, you can find me taking day trips on the family motor boat, waterskiing, kneeboarding, wake boarding and tubing during the summer time. 

Naturally since I live in New England, we have 4 very distinct seasons. Each one brings something new and exciting! During the cold winter months, I enjoy skiing in the White and Green mountains.

Besides what I listed above, I have a true passion for classic fashion. I hope you will enjoy the various outfits I will share with you just as much as I enjoy creating them in my wardrobe. It is my ultimate goal to share with you my favorite fashions along with many other products I love with a New England touch.
